James acts as the Firm's Chief Financial Operations and Financial Officer. In his role as COO/CFO James provides staff support for the acquisition and retention of clients through the development and implementation of employee recruitment, employee development, and employee support services and through the planning, evaluation, monitoring and improving of financial, information technology, and administrative systems, in a way that promotes an effective, smooth-running organization. In addition, James heads the firm's securities trading desk and oversees the execution of securities trades in our client portfolios. Prior to joining the Firm James developed significant project management, operations and technology experience from over 20 years in the product design and automotive system business.

James is an active member of the Hartland Rotary club. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys archery, hunting, fishing and camping. He lives on a farm just outside of Hartland, Michigan with his wife and three sons, where they enjoy organic gardening and caring for their horses, goats, chickens, ducks and cats.
